WWII veteran Stephen D. Dittrick passed away on April 30, 2016. Age 89 of Jupiter, FL with his loving daughter and caregiver for the past four years, Gay. He had lived in Westland for many years while raising a family with his late wife Sarah Frances and working for Ford Motor Company as an inspector. He leaves behind three children: Gay of Jupiter, FL., Kenny Ray (Sarah Doris) of Patterson, GA., and Nancy Marlene (Emil) Comsia of Westland. He also had three daughters who predeceased him; Hope, Faith and Fay. Grandfather of Kristee, Keith, Jessica, Gary, Christopher, Amanda and the late Tina. Great grandfather of 19. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service Thursday 11:00am at the Dearborn Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home. 22546 Michigan Ave. Visitation Wednesday 4-9pm. Burial at Cadillac Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Westland, MI.
