Stephen Spencer Smith, age 57, passed away September 8, 2023.

Beloved husband of Holly for 33 wonderful years.
Dear brother Michael (Lori) Smith and Jodie (Chris) Donahey, and brother-in-law Jim (Barb) Stankus.
Loving uncle of Tyler, Trent, and Trace Donahey, Austin and Ian Smith.
Cherished son of Raymond and Karen Smith.

Stephen was a man with many facets to his life. His favored pastimes were to go out with family and friends to hunt and fish. He travelled all over southeast Michigan to his best spots to cast out a line or track animals for hunting. He boasted quite the collection of guns, knives, and fishing poles in his arsenal. Steve also enjoyed donning Maize & Blue to root for his favorite Michigan football team. He will be remembered for so many things but especially for his giving nature and kindness towards humans and animals alike.

Memorial gathering Tuesday, September 19 from 2-8PM, celebration of life at 6PM. All services located at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 9800 Telegraph Rd, Taylor MI 48180. Private inurnment at Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery.
