Steven Lee Perri's Obituary
Funeral Service Monday, November 23, 2015, 5:00pm at the Taylor Chapel of the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 9800 S. Telegraph Road.
Visitation Monday, 1:00pm until time of service.
Steven is survived by his parents Jack and Dianne, brother Michael, and ex-wife Shelly Hoback who remained one of his closest friends. Other family members are his paternal grandparents Sam and Nina of Sarasota, FL, his maternal grandmother Vashti Everett of Taylor, MI and two nephews, Alex and Nick both of Michigan, plus many aunts, uncles and cousins throughout the country. He received the Presidential Award for Academic Excellence during Junior High School. He began scouting as a young boy and reached the goal of an Eagle Scout. As a young adult he joined the U.S. Army and served 2 terms in Iraq where he received many awards. After the army he focused his attention on college and martial arts.
