With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Susan Dianne Mondon on July 5, 2024, at the age of 71.

Susan was born on October 23, 1952, to Bert and Jeanne (Boudreau) Phillips in Detroit Michigan.

Susan graduated from Edsel Ford in 1970. Shortly after graduating she met her husband, Fred. They were married on November 6, 1971. They enjoyed weekly card nights with their childhood friends, Mo Madigan and Sam Evola.

Susan and Fred went onto have five children, Jackie, Dan (Mary Mondon), Steve (Linda Mondon), Matt (Stacie Mondon) and Dave (Leah Mondon). She was a proud grandmother of 11 grandchildren: Doug, Ashley, Noah, Emily, Adam, Alex, Conor, Anna, Sammy, Dylan and Hailey. Family meant everything to Susan. All those who knew her knew, that her greatest joy in life was spending time with family together whether it be spaghetti nights, bike rides, pasties with her siblings, or baking cookies with her grandchildren.

Susan was proceeded in death by her father Bert Phillips, sister Phyllis Phillips and son Dan Mondon. She is survived by her mother Jeanne (Boudreau) Phillips, brother Dave (Mary Phillips), sister Mary Anne (Walter Linsell), brother Chris Phillips, sister June (Alex Salehi) and many nieces and nephews.

Forever is a long time but as new memories are made there will always be a special place in our hearts for her. Until we meet again.

Visitation will be on Thursday July 11, 2024 at Divine Child Church, 1055 Silvery Ln, Dearborn, MI 48128, (313) 277-3110 from 9:30am until time of mass at 11:00am.
