Rev. Talbie Akers age 85 passed away 02/09/2016. Preceded in death by his beloved wife Pauline Akers and daughter Suette Clinton. Survived by his 2 sons; Rev. Rodney (Patricia) Akers, Rev. Shane (Geri) Akers, 2 daughters; Joyce (Tim) Lilly, and Joan (Rodger) Geilow. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Three sisters; Brenda Hicks, Betty Sue Henson, Marie Williams and his brother Pink "Bubo" Akers. Visitation will be Thursday from 1-8PM, Friday from 11am - 12pm with services at 12pm. Interment Mt.
