Obituary

Ted Schave passed away on June 28th at the age of 89. He was born in Detroit, Michigan May 3rd, 1931 to Ted and Norma Schave. Following in his father's foot steps, he became a truck driver and later took up a love for magic. In October of 1973, he married his beloved wife Mary Jo where they have resided in Lincoln Park since. Ted had a passion for entertainment and always made a lasting impression. For the past almost thirty years he has spent his time performing magic at Red Robin for multiple generations. His crowds continue to come back because of their love for him. He enjoyed life on stage. When he wasn't entertaining he was spending time with family and friends. Ted was a kind hearted, social man that touched the lives of many. His sense of humor and attitude always brought a smile, some laughs and an occasional eye roll.  His Wednesday gatherings with the Breakfast Club were always an important part of his week. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, swimming and being outside. Ted was not only a magician but loved to sing and play his various musical instruments. He was an avid member of his church, Christ the Good Shepherd were he cantered for years. Ted will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

"And if I'm lucky I'll see you next time."
