Beloved husband to Bonnie for 49 blissful years.
Loving father to Donna McDonald (Marc), Mark Zakalowski (Angela), and Mary Zakalowski.
Caring grandfather to Erik, Emily, Justin, Zander, Landen, and Autumn.
Father-in-law to Renee Struhak.
Cherished brother of Lorraine Sampson (Tom), Thomas Zakalowski (Janet), and the late Geraldine Skotzke (James), Celine LaRose (Gary), and Roseann Williams.
Treasured by many nieces and nephews.
Life-long friend of Ronald Poniatowski.
He will be greatly missed by Molly, the family pup.
Ted was an amazing chef dabbling in many different dishes, but excelled at soups. He kept up with NASCAR and the Detroit Tigers. He could also be found river or lakeside catching fish, but he always threw them back.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 6th from 2:00-5:00pm at the Taylor Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home located at 9800 Telegraph. A memorial mass will be the following day, April 7th, instate 10:30am until time of service at 11:00am at St. Constance Catholic Church 21555 Kinyon St., Taylor, Michigan.
