Theodore Rice passed away on February 6, 2022 at the age of 100. He was born on July 14, 1921 in Gilberton, Pennsylvania. He was a proud World War II Army veteran and a 97 year Dearborn resident.

Ted was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Blanche, his wife, Muriel, and his sons, Theodore, Brian, and Craig. He is survived by his loving daughters, Mary Ellen (Jerry) Randall, JoAnne (the late Robert) Ross, Shari (William) Bommarito, and Lori (Michael) Carreri. He was a proud grandfather of 9 and great-grandfather of 9.

Ted enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. You could often find him enjoying the outdoors from hunting to spending time on his family cottage beach on Lake Huron. And he loved to watch the Detroit Lions and Tigers play.

Military services will be held at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery on Thursday February 10, 2022 at 1:00pm.
