MARTIN, Thomas A. March 19, 2012, age 76 Born and raised in Dublin, Ireland. Dear father of Maureen Frasure (Roger), Thomas M., John P. (Tesia) and William E. Loving grandfather of Meaghan McNerney, Molly McNerney and Brendan Martin. Brother of Noel, Joyce Martin and the late Joseph. Tom immmigrated to Montreal, Canada in 1947 from Dublin, Ireland. From there, he made his home in the metro Detroit area. He was employed by the Ford Motor Company for 36 years working as a master electrician. He was a drummer in various musical groups, including his band, The Celtic Sound. He was involved in the Dearborn Soccer Club, eventually becoming director of coaching. He played as a left winger in a semi-pro Irish Soccer team as a member of the Shamrock Rovers in Dublin, Ireland. Tom was loved by many family and friends and will be greatly missed.
