Thurman "Charles" Farley, 65, of Harts Creek, WV, departed this life on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 in Michigan.
Charles was born October 11, 1950 in Whirlwind, WV to the late Tom and Tilda Farley.
He enjoyed spending time with his dogs, riding his 4-wheeler and coming often to WV to visit his family. He retired a dedicated employee from Cadillac after 40+ years in Detroit, MI.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Henry Farley, Randy & Handy Farley, Bob Farley, James Farley, and Wayne Farley and his sisters, Eunice Adams and Noonie Farley. He was also preceded in death by his dearly loved dog, Max.
Those left to cherish his memory include his siblings, Inis Lowe, Virgil (Alice) Farley, Lawrence (Kathleen) Farley, Daisy (Willie) Stevenson, Amanda (Bill) Spence, Marvin (Susie) Farley and Rick Farley. He leaves behind his two daughters, Pam (Jose) Karnok and Tina (Emi) Cedeno, and his son Chuckie (Stephanie) Farley. He also leaves behind his step-children, Patty Karnok, Sharon Clements, Christine Williams, and Rich Clements. Lastly of his children, he leaves behind his beloved dog, Hunter.
He also leaves behind an abundance of grandchildren whom all loved him dearly, this includes Juan, Lisa, Yolanda, Wanda, Angel M, Julia, Selena, Alexis, Angel G, Delina and Miley. He leaves behind his great-grandkids, Jonathan, Elizabeth, Emma, Alejandro and Jahneliz.
He was also loved by many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Freeman Funeral Home, with Elbert Collins Jr officiating. Burial will follow at the Farley Cemetery at Harts, WV.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 22, 2016 from 5 – 9 pm at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
