Timothy Ralph Bissell, age 84, of Dearborn passed away June 18th, 2022. He is survived by his daughter, Emily Wigodski (Alan Wigodski), and his three grandsons, Louis Champoux, Elijah Champoux, and Henry Champoux. Timothy grew up in Dearborn where he graduated from Fordson High School in 1957.

Tim proudly served in the US Army in peacetime (1957-1965). He was married on October 17th, 1970 to Barbara Jean (Bern) Bissell, who preceded him in death. He was also predeceased by his parents, Donald and Elsie Bissell (nee Kroll), as well as sisters Elizabeth and Margaret and brother Chester. Tim was passionate about history, especially World War II and the American Civil War. Tim leaves behind him a legacy of service to his family, friends, and community. Our family is grateful to know that he is finally at peace.

Visitation at the Dearborn Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home on Friday, June 24, 2-6pm.

An interment of Tim's cremains will occur at 1:00pm on Saturday, October 22, at Highland Cemetery in Ypsilanti, MI with a graveside service and Army Honors
