Trinie (Verrua) Diaz, 92, of Lincoln Park, passed away May 29, 2014. She was married to her beloved late husband, Ramon Diaz, for 43 years and, later, enjoyed the companionship of her late friend, Dominic Deiriggi for 20 years. Survived by her loving daughter, Patricia Diaz Krause, grandsons Ryan and Adam, and many nieces and nephews.
She loved gardening, traveling, dancing, cooking, but most of all she enjoyed her family. She was an active member of the Women of Good Shepherd and the Lincoln Park Senior Citizens Clubs years ago.
Visitation will be Sunday 2-8 pm and Monday 2-8 pm with a 7 pm vigil service Monday evening at J. L. Peters Funeral Home, 3880 Fort Street, Lincoln Park, MI (313-928-6500). Instate Tuesday at 10:30 am with Mass at 11:00 am at Christ the Good Shepherd Church, 1540 Riverbank, Lincoln Park. Interment Woodmere Cemetery.
