Upton Eugene Brannack 76, of Grand Haven, Michigan, passed away on April 1 ^st , 2023 with friends and family by his side. Gene is survived by his son and daughter, Nicklas Brannack and Kelly Brannack. He is also survived by his grandchildren Samantha (Jacob) Anderson, Jessica (Duncan) Vallone, Kyle (Jody) Brannack, Chase Harbin, and Sean Haight. Great grandchildren, Bastian and Desmond Anderson, and Laine Brannack.

In 1969, Gene married his high school sweetheart Late Kathleen. Gene and Kathy were married for 50 years before Kathy's passing in 2020. Gene was a very hard-working man. He owned his own business at the corner of 5 mile and Newburgh Road in Livonia, Michigan for 30 years. Retiring to the town they loved, Grand Haven, Michigan.

Gene was a founding father of snowmobile club, The Long Riders. Within this club were Gene's closest friends and family. Gene is survived by his closest friend, more like a brother, Dennis (Linda) Morgan. Gene's passing will leave a large void in this circle, and he will be missed by many. Gene will be remembered for his intangible sense of humor, his kindness, his hard work, and his love of music and dancing.

There will be no funeral services at this time. A celebration of life will happen at a date and time TBD.
