Vera Eva Novak, of Dearborn Heights, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2023 at the age of 90.

Vera is survived by daughter, Andrea (Fernandez) Novak, grandson Diego Fernandez, brother, Aldo (Susan) Martin, and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her loving husband, John Novak, her son, Lawrence Novak, her daughter Angela Novak, and brother Chelso Martin.

Vera was a dedicated employee of Masco Corporation in the Epics Fine Arts Department for many years. She loved going to Northern Michigan with her family to enjoy her summer home built by her husband Johnny. She always enjoyed drawing with her grandson Diego.

A memorial gathering for Angela and Vera will take place at the Dearborn Location of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home on Friday, January 5th, 2024, 3-7pm. A celebration of their lives will take place on Saturday, January 6th, 2024 at 12pm at the funeral home. Friends can begin gathering at 10am Saturday.
