GUZIK, Virginia (nee Mierkiewicz), October 13, 2011, age 88 Died peacefully at Angela Hospice in Livonia, MI. with "her girls" Nancy and Cheryl at her side. Beloved wife of the late Edward Guzik. Dearest mother of Nancy (Rich) White and the late Dennis (Cheryl) Guzik. Caring grandmother of Heather (Fletcher), Lauren (Jeremy), the late Grant Guzik and Jaime and Rick White and "Grandma V" to her six great-grandchildren Reece, Cameron, Margaret, Brynn, Owen and Vivian. She is also survived by her dear aunts Eleanor and Irene. Virgie was a kind and sweet lady who was liked by everyone who met her. She enjoyed lunching with her aunts, spoiling her dog Sadie and shopping for special treats for her family especially the latest snacks and fun finds from the dollar store. We are grateful for having such a kind and loving mother and grandmother and will miss her dearly. Funeral Monday 12 Noon Mass at St. Anselm Catholic Church (Outer Drive north of Ford Rd.). Instate in church at 11:30 am.
