Wilson, Virginia Margaret left her earthly journey on March 25,2009 to be with her Lord. She was born to the late Anna Musu (Krubner) on September 5, 1921 in Detroit. Virginia was married to the late Raymond C. Wilson for 59 years. She is survived by her 7 children: Rebecca Wilson Chamberlain (Palm Springs,CA), Gilbert Wilson (Diane) (Barton City, MI) Martin Wilson (Barton City, MI) Terry Wilson (Diane) (Woodhaven, MI) Mark Wilson (Lincoln Park, MI) Deborah Vargo (Bill) (Highland, MI) Mary Christina (Lincoln Park, MI) and daughter-in-law Heidi Wilson (Lincoln Park). She was a grandmother to 17 and great-grandmother to 23, and all affectionately called her Grandma Gee Gee. She had 5 siblings: The late Tony Musu, Charles "Buzz" Musu (Marilyn) (Deckerville, MI), Rita Mack (Augie-deceased) (Taylor, MI), Lourdes Ferro (Rocky) (Arcadia, CA) and Connie Musu (Las Vegas, NV). Virginia graduated from Wayne County Community College July 1977 with an Associates of Arts Degree. She graduated from St. Vincents High School in Detroit. She was an original member of Christ the Good Shepherd Church in Lincoln Park and a volunteer of "The Women of the Good Shepherd". Virginia was an early member of NOW campaigning for women's equal rights. Her many activities included Girl Scout Leader, volunteer for the March of Dimes and many travel trips throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico with her husband. As Virginia begins her heavenly journey with her Lord God, she will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She truly lived life "her way".
