Walter McElhaney of Romulus, Michigan passed away on May 5, 2020 at the age of 77.

Beloved husband of the late Roberta.

Loving father of Franklin (Sherry) McElhaney and Larry McElhaney.

Dear grandfather of Courtney Lynn, Jared, Rachel, Hannah, and Gabriel.

Devoted great grandfather of Adrian and Anastasia.

Walter was born on June 1, 1942 in Baden, Pennsylvania to Walter C. McElhaney and Lea Rose McElhaney (nee. Kastler). Walter grew up in the Pittsburgh area. He is a proud veteran who served four years in the United States Army. He and Roberta moved to Michigan for his work. They lived in Taylor Michigan and later moved to Romulus.

Walter retired from Ford Motor Company in 1998 after 31 years.

Funeral Service at 1:30PM on Friday, May 8th, 2020 at the Taylor Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 9800 S. Telegraph Rd. Visitation on Thursday, May 7, 2020 from 1:00PM until 4:00PM.
