Wayne Edward Pelkey passed away at Banner Gardens in Mesa Arizona on April 3, 2015. Beloved father of Brian (Jacqui) Pelkey, Dena (David) Kind (Bill) and Colleen (Ricky) Hayton. Dear brother of Carol Akers of Brownstown Twp, MI, Jacqueline Allport (Denise) of Houghton Lake, MI, Gerald (Gail) Pelkey of Royal Oak, MI and Mary (Richard) Slawinski of Clinton Twp., MI. Loving grandfather of Destinee, Shanna, Kyler, Keyarra, Devin, Connor and Karleigh. Dearest great-grandfather of Evan and a great-granddaughter on the way. He is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Wayne was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 44 years, Vicki Pelkey, on April 9, 2014 and also by his parents Gerald and Lorraine Pelkey and two grandchildren, Brianna and David Kind. A memorial gathering will be at the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 9800 S. Telegraph, Taylor, MI on Saturday, April 25th, from 1:00pm until 7:00pm. Memorial service will be at the funeral home on Saturday, April 25th, at 4:00pm
