Age 90 of Lincoln Park. Mr. Burton was born December 18, 1916 in Whittington, Illinois. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Elizabeth and his parents, Rev. William Riley and Bertha Burton. Mr. Burton is survived by three sons, John Burton of Mattoon, Illinois, James Burton of Trenton, Michigan and Dr. Whitney Burton of Hillsboro, Oregon and two daughters, Martha Patrick of Duncansville, Pennsylvania and Barbara Tesnovich of Wyandotte, Michigan. Also surviving are three grandchildren, one step-grandson, one great-granddaughter, one great-grandson, five step great-grandchildren, and one sister-in-law, Phyllis Smith of Crestwood, Illinois.
