William was a loyal employee of the Ford Motor Company, for 38 years, mostly at the design center. He was a faithful member of St. Alfred's church, for 59 years. During that time, he ushered and volunteered at the Fall Festival, where he helped build the original booths for the annual event. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed coaching little league baseball to kids between the ages of 8 to 16. He was also a Den Dad for 7 years with the Boy Scouts of America. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping, as well as his cabin up North.
The part of William's life that he was most passionate about was enjoying time with his family.
In lieu of flowers, (not allowed during lent) the family suggests donations be given to Henry Ford Hospice.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St Alfred Catholic Church in Taylor, at 6:00 pm, on March 17, 2018.
A celebration of William's life will immediately follow, at Leon's (8787 Telegraph Rd., Taylor), from 7 pm -10 pm.
