William Russell Holmes passed away May 4th, 2024 at age 63, following a 2 month battle with cancer. Dear son of Bill (the late Donna) Holmes, beloved brother of Tammy (the late Bill) Bonner and Terri (Tom) King. Wonderful uncle to Patrick (Nicole Bonner), Matthew, Catherine, and Thomas, and the late Christopher. Beloved great uncle of 5.

He retired from the former Rouge Steel Plant, now known as Cleveland Cliffs. William enjoyed tending to his yard, working in his garden, and updating his home.

Visitation at the Dearborn location of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home and Cremation Services on Thursday, May 9th, 11am-1pm. Service will be held at 1pm at the funeral home.
